June and July has been a doozy of a time. So many people want to buy or sell a home that the real estate market, the real estate professionals and all the ancillary groups that support the process ( think title companies, appraisers, lenders, movers, painters, landscapers etc.) can barely keep up with the demand. Everyone seems to want to make a change, whether it's to a larger home with spaces to fit their new SIP life or major life pivots by moving to a new zip code because they are no longer tethered to their current location.
As a result, median house sales price hit a new record high; year-over-year total listing inventory is down; sales activity is way, way up; and luxury home sales soared!
